Can we sublimate on cotton shirts?

People often ask us whether we can print cotton T-shirt with dye-sublimation.
The answer is not.Because sublimation ink do not adhere to cotton fabric during the transfer. If you do a test ,you may seem to have been printed, but the first washing the stamped image disappears.


Is there an alternative to stamp cotton shirts with sublimation system?

YES to print cotton shirts are 2 alternatives that allow you to use your current system sublimation.

Sublicotton Paper : this paper has a polyester film applied heat in cotton shirt creating a polyester layer leaving the shirt prepared to sublimate as if it were a polyester shirt.


SubliFirst Coating : is a varnish applied by screen printing or spray gun on the surface leave the garment with a polyester film and T prepared to sublimate.



Remember that although the results are very satisfactory in all such alternatives, not enough washability ,touch the sublimation on polyester.

Is there any solution for black shirts?

Yes is called SubliFlex . It is a role that functions as a transfer: you print on it with your sublimation system and then transfer it over the dark garment. It serves for cotton fabrics.

you should remember that sublimated shirts that are 100% polyester (or at least 65%) and white or clear enough. Sublimation on T has a very long life and an excellent touch . With a sublimation printer and sublimation paper to sublimate, you can start one profitable business .
